June 2024 Medical Technologist Licensure Exam Results Released by PRC: The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the results for the June 2024 Medical Technologist Special Professional Licensure Examination.
This important examination was conducted by the Board of Medical Technology and took place in multiple international locations: Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; Jeddah and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and Doha, Qatar.

Registration Requirements for Successful Examinees
Successful candidates are required to complete the registration process to officially become licensed Medical Technologists. The following documents and items must be brought for registration:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal): This form can be downloaded from the PRC website and must be filled out accurately.
- Notice of Admission: This is used solely for identification purposes.
- Passport-sized pictures: Two colored photos with a white background and a complete name tag.
- Documentary stamps: Two sets of these are required.
- Short brown envelope: One piece is needed for document handling.
It is mandatory for the successful examinees to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals to ensure the authenticity and validity of their licensure.
Options for Examinees Who Did Not Pass
For those who did not pass the licensure examination but achieved a general rating of at least 70%, there is an alternative pathway. These individuals are eligible to register as Medical Laboratory Technicians. This role, while distinct from that of a licensed Medical Technologist, still offers a valuable career opportunity within the medical laboratory field.
